More About These Long Black North African Tassel Falls

Extra long tassels with metal beads and tassel toppers, red wraps accents with yellow and green beads. Loops with buttons on top allow these to easily be attached in a variety of ways.

Tassels have many uses:

• Wear them in headdresses
• create one of a kind tribal tassel belts
• attach them to armbands
• wear them in the hair
• create bold focal pieces in jewelry making
• use them as home decor (accents on door handles, curtains, fan pulls, and more)

Tips For Creating Tassel Belts

The classic FCBDstyle®/ATS tassel belt was inspired by the traditional headdresses worn by camels for formal ceremonies. When attached to a belt the tassels swing freely with movement and accent the dancer’s hip articulations perfectly!

1. Start with any belt base (such as those found on our textile belts page)
2. Hand sew the top loop of the the tassel to the inside of the belt
3. Repeat at multiple points around the belt, as desired with additional tassels or pendants
