This falcon’s head baladi scimitar is a wonderful piece. Use it in dance performances or as a theatrical prop in films. It also makes a nice addition to many cosplay and period costumes.

This scimitar is built and balanced for dance. This means you can balance it in your hand, on your head, hip or anywhere else, with relative ease. The hilt is placed so that it will act as a counter weight to the long blade.

More About Our Falcon’s Head Baladi Scimitar

Clear silver toned smooth blade. Hilt features brass toned accents and a falcon’s head. Wood grain of handle/grip is smooth and comfortable to hold.

Built with dance in mind. It has a flat edge along the interior curve to help with comfort while balancing. There is an illusion of sharpness to the blade which will keep your audience members holding their breath while you wield it on stage.

Its attractive design means that is also lovely as wall display when not being used.

Includes a faux leather sheath for protecting it during storage and transportation to and from events. Sheath has accent stitching and simple snap closures.

Size & Weight

Approximately 35″ long measured along the full length following its curve. Measured straight across from hilt tip to tip of blade the measurement is about 33″. Hilt is about 8″ long and 5 3/4″ wide. The wooden grip is about 4 1/4″ long.

Weight of scimitar is about 2.4 pounds.
