More About Our Elana Wing Earrings

Hand carved bone with a hypoallergenic surgical steel post. The brass has a beautiful warm tone. White bone is intricately carved into pretty wings. Light in weight and relatively durable. Due to the natural characteristics of the material some slight variations in tone may occur.

Note: The horn and bone used in these traditional earrings is salvaged from domesticated water buffalo that have been used for cultivation and food. The horn and bone are respectfully repurposed to minimize waste in this traditional Indonesian carved art. Turning the discarded horns and bones into artful jewelry is a great example of the eco-chic movement we like to support.
