This dragon etched scimitar is a wonderful piece. Use it in belly dance and other dance performances. Popular as a theatrical prop in stage productions, plays and films. It also makes a nice addition to many cosplay and period costumes.
Built and balanced for dance. This means you can balance it in your hand, on your head, hip or anywhere else, with relative ease. The hilt is placed so that it will act as a counter weight to the long blade.

More About Our Dragon Etched Scimitar
Clear silver toned smooth blade with etched design. Hilt features gold toned dragon head. Handle/grip is slightly textured to avoid slipping and is comfortable to hold.
Built with dance in mind. Sturdy all metal construction. It has a flat edge along the interior curve. Notched near balance point to help with grip and help keep it in place. Audience members will be holding their breath while you wield it on stage. Very dramatic design and presentation. Popular with many belly dance styles and a definite crowd pleaser!
Its attractive design means that is also lovely as wall display when not being used.
Size & Weight
Approximately 35″ long measured along the full length following its curve. Measured straight across from hilt tip to tip of blade the measurement is about 34 1/2″. Hilt is about 6 3/4″ long and 5 1/4″ wide. The grip is about 4″ long.
Weight of scimitar is about 2 pounds.
