Emily Mullis
Student Troupe
March 2019- Current
In the chaos that has been Emily’s life, belly dance was the first thing that stuck. She first took an interest back in 2013 when she was preparing to travel to Istanbul to get her English teaching certificate. Casually, but with great interest, she taught herself the dance by watching many different types and learning through various teachers on the internet.
It wasn’t until moving to Colorado that she decided it was time to take it seriously. Thanks to inspirations such as Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Mardi Love, and a collection of others, Emily knew tribal dance would be her stepping stone into the dance world and Tribe Nawaar has proven to be a wonderful place of learning and growth.
Dance is a window into other cultures and that was what drew Emily to it. She is fond of history, culture, art, and creative activities.
Emily joins a dedicated, professional and hard working group of dancers who are all thrilled to be dancing with her!
Great work Emily!!
Your steadfast efforts and delightful shimmies paid off!
🙂
Zaghareet!
Love, Stacey
