Achieve a calm, flowing dance state bathed in a no-talk-only-dance environment with a mix of live and recorded music. A perfect anecdote to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We will begin with a body awareness warm up stretch and moving meditation. We will then move into following Jennifer thru improvisational belly dances based on Tribe Nawaar’s level 1, 2 and 3 curriculum. This workshop will take advantage of a mix of recorded and live music with our guest musician. No worries if you are only familiar with the level 1 movements. This workshop is about relaxing into following, not technique or movement knowledge. We will be focusing on feeling the music and it’s connection to movement, letting the music flow thru us.

Dress for workshop:
You may wear anything that allows for a full range of motion. Some dancers like to dress up where some prefer to wear workout clothes. It’s entirely up to you.

Prerequisite:
Experience with the basic FCBDStyle®/ATS dance movements is helpful, but, not required to follow along.
