Our diy tribal coin bra making workshop is a hand’s on workshop led by Jennifer Secrist Goran. All students will learn the basics of transforming a lingerie bra into a stage ready tribal masterpiece- worthy of your inner (or outer) diva!
This workshop will be held in our new 2 part series format. The first week we will learn about various base options, supplies, design layout and begin the process of creating our base. The second week Jennifer will cover all the various tricks and tips for laying out your final design and attaching the components to create your one of a kind work of art coin bra!
More About Our DIY Tribal Coin Bra Workshop
Workshop Dates: Wednesday February 5th & February 12th
6:00 – 7:30pm
3 hours total of instruction, tips and creating, lead by Tribe Nawaar’s director, Jennifer Secrist Goran. Jennifer has over 30 years experience in this dance form and is a talented designer and creator. Our new 2 part series will be spread out over 2 weeks to cover the large amount of content and sewing needing to create a tribal coin bra. The first meeting will be 1 1/2 hours and cover the base concepts. There will be at least one week between the first meeting and the second meeting. This will allow for most dancers to have the opportunity to complete the base, if they wish. The second meeting will be used to learn and implement the tips and tricks to put the final design elements together.
Needed Materials:
You must bring a black padded bra in your desired cup shape and size. This is crucial that you already have this when you join us for the workshop. Almost all other items needed will be available for purchase before or during the workshop.
The studio will open 45 minutes before the diy tribal coin bra making workshop. We will have time for a quick orientation and grabbing any needed supplies. All workshop participants will receive 15% off all supply purchases the day of the workshop.
