Every October ATS® dancers from around the world create flash mobs in their community. Songs are voted on throughout the year and the winning song is used to create spontaneous dances in public spaces on every continent of the globe.
The Nawaar Dance Company looks forward to this annual ATS/FCBD flash mob with great anticipation! This year we’ll be surprising patrons at Mudrock’s Tap & Tavern in Louisville. It should be be fun to see a bunch of belly dancers jumping up from their tables or the bar and create a little spontaneous dance magic!

Location & Time
Saturday October 8th, 4pm
Mudrock’s Tap & Tavern: 585 E South Boulder Rd, Louisville, CO 80027
We’ll be flashing (or mobbing depending on your perspective) at 4pm on Saturday the 8th at Mudrock’s, in between the long bar and long table(s) directly across from it. If you’ll be joining us to watch and cheer us on, please plan to show up early and get a drink or some food. Their food is delicious and you’ll want to look inconspicuous. If you plan to take photos or videos note that we will mostly be facing the end angled a bit towards the entrance.
If you want to join us in the dance we ask that you be a current student of our level 2, 3 or 4 classes who understands the movements and structure of the song and when to join in the flash mob. Each level will have their moment to bust out moves that are unique to their class that they know everyone out at that time will understand and be able to follow. We’ll meet at the bar (to be inconspicuous of course) between at 3:30 pm to finalize any last minute details. We recommend arriving by 3 if you can to get a table and order your snack/food/drinks.

There is a large parking lot, typically with ample parking.

Weather in the Rockies:
The forecast for that day currently is sunny with a high of 63º fahrenheit. Fall weather in the Rocky Mountains can be unpredictable; it can be warm and sunny one day and then a full blizzard the next. Since we are performing indoors this year, it is highly unlikely there will be any need to reschedule or change plans (especially with the beautiful forecast!). You can always check our Facebook page for any last minute changes. Again, can’t imagine a need for a change, though.
