What Belly Dance Costume & Accessory Consignments We Take
We take on ALL styles of belly dance costuming, jewelry, accessories and some DIY components and instruments for consignment!
Consignment Terms
The split is 40% payout in cash or 60% payout in trade (and you can do a mix of trade/cash). Typically, the consignment contracts last for 2-4 months before we require folks to pick up (or arrange to have shipped back) any unsold items.
Consignment payouts typically happen at the end of the consignment period, however, if a consignee had sold items and wanted to cash out or use for trade part of their earnings earlier we can often accommodate that.
The Nawaar Marketplace covers/collects all applicable sales tax, shipping costs related to the sale of your items and transaction fees (PayPal, credit card, etc). You will NOT be responsible for these costs associated with selling the consignment items.

If you are local or will be in the Boulder, Colorado area you can set up a time to come by with your items and we can go thru them and determine what will be taken on consignment and set up a consignment contract.
Not in our area? No problem! Just ship us your items and include your contact information and any notes that are relevant to the pieces. We suggest reaching out before shipping so we can confirm someone will be here to receive your parcel and to keep an eye out for it.
Once your parcel is received and we sort thru your pieces we will email your consignment contract. It will list both the cash out and trade values you would receive if your item(s) sell. Any pieces we do not take can be shipped back to you (you will be responsible for return shipping costs) or donated.
If you prefer you may first send us quick photos of what you are interested in consigning. We’ll let you know which pieces we would most likely take so you are less likely to ship items we might not take.
